Infrageneric entities in the genera of Loasaceae

This page is still in construction. Only the infrageneric entities of the genera of Loasoideae are so far included.

Aosa  the combinations of the series formerly under Loasa and now placed in Aosa have not been formalized: The relationships between the species are insufficiently understood and the genus is small enough not to urgently require a formal infrageneric taxonomy.

Nasa  the series formerly described under Loasa and now placed in Nasa have not been combined formally: Most of the series are probably unnatural and many of the new taxa can not be placed into any of the existing entities. A natural subdivision of the genus Nasa can not at the moment be accomplished.
