How to reach the congress location (Schönwalder Allee 26)...

(a) from the airport

«Berlin Tegel»: Take the Bus 109 (direction «S+U Zoologischer Garten»). It takes about 10 minutes to «Luisenplatz/Schloß Charlottenburg» where you have to change to Bus 145 (direction «Spandau, Johannesstift»). Get off at «Johannesstift».
This is the easiest way to get to the congress location, but maybe not the fastest. To check for alternative routes use the «BVG Route Planner» (Start: «Flughafen Tegel»; Destination: «Johannesstift»).

«Berlin Tempelhof»: Take the Bus 119 (direction «S Grunewald» or «U Wittenbergplatz»). It takes about 5 minutes to «U Mehringdamm» where you have to change to the subway train U7 (direction «S+U Rathaus Spandau»). At «S+U Rathaus Spandau» take the Bus 145 (direction «Spandau, Johannesstift»). Get off at «Johannesstift».

«Berlin Schönefeld»: Take the Airport Express train (RE4 or RE5, direction «Rathenow», «Rostock» or «Stralsund»). It takes about 40 minutes to «Spandau» where you have to change to Bus 145 (direction «Spandau, Johannesstift»). Get off at «Johannesstift».

«Berlin Ostbahnhof»: Take the S-Bahn train S5 (direction «S Spandau»). It takes about 30 minutes to «S Spandau» where you have to change to Bus 145 (direction «Spandau, Johannesstift»). Get off at «Johannesstift».
Alternatively you can take the S-Bahn train S7 or any other with same direction (direction «S+U Zoologischer Garten», «S Wannsee» or «S Westkreuz»). It takes about 15 minutes to «S+U Zoologischer Garten» where you have to change to Bus 145 (direction «Spandau, Johannesstift»). Get off at «Johannesstift».

From the North (freeway A 24):

  • at the interchange «Dreieck Havelland» keep ahead (freeway A 10, direction Berlin Reinickendorf)
  • leave the freeway A 10 at the exit «Schwante»
  • take road L 17 direction Schwante/Marwitz/Velten
  • you will pass a roundabout traffic where you have to take road L 20 (direction Schönwalde)
  • in Schönwalde turn left (road L 16 direction Berlin, Schönwalder Allee)
  • the conference site is located at the Johannesstift, Schönwalder Allee 26

From the South (freeway A 2):

  • at the interchange «Dreieck Werder» keep right (freeway A 10, direction Hamburg)
  • leave the freeway A 10 at the exit «Berlin Spandau»
  • take highway B 5 (direction Berlin Spandau)
  • by keeping on highway B 5 you will enter Berlin on the Heerstraße
  • keep ahead until approaching the cross-way Heerstraße/Gatower Straße (at the Esso gas station)
  • turn left (Gatower Straße)
  • keep ahead (passing the Berlin Spandau railway station and city hall) until reaching a roundabout traffic (Falkenseer Platz)
  • take the second exit of the roundabout traffic (Neuendorfer Straße)
  • take the second road left and enter the Schönwalder Str.
  • keep ahead, the elongation of this road is the Schönwalder Allee
  • the conference site is located at the Johannesstift, Schönwalder Allee 26

From the South (freeway A 9):

  • at the interchange «Dreieck Potsdam» keep right (freeway A 10, direction Hannover/Hamburg)
  • at the interchange «Dreieck Werder» keep right (freeway A 10, direction Hamburg)
  • leave the freeway A 10 at the exit «Berlin Spandau»
  • take highway B 5 (direction Berlin Spandau)
  • by keeping on highway B 5 you will enter Berlin on the Heerstraße
  • keep ahead until approaching the cross-way Heerstraße/Gatower Straße (at the Esso gas station)
  • turn left (Gatower Straße)
